Happy new year, or should I say,
If you’re wondering why I haven’t posted anything in a while, it’s because I lost my job, so I had to scramble to get a new one (in this economy!), and in the midst of applying for jobs, preparing for interviews, and questioning if I could get anywhere at all in this industry I’ve chosen, I just didn’t have the energy to do any translations in the past few months. However, I have recently got a job, so I am now able to produce translations like I used to, and it starts with Part 1 of The Paris Macaron Mystery, which I have just released. Unfortunately, this new job has longer hours, requires a daily commute (and boasts a lower pay), so I hope you understand that I will probably have a slower pace than usual.
In other news, I have yet another project in the works related to Hyouka (perhaps I should make it a tradition), though I don’t want to divulge too much until (if?) I manage to get some collaborators. Hopefully I will be able to unveil the plans in the coming months.
Oh yeah, I totally missed out Pigcow Translations’ fifth birthday, which occurred in November last year. Let’s hope we keep going for another five years!
Anyway, thank you for supporting Pigcow Translations, and I hope you have an amazing year ahead.
