Holmes of Kyoto Vol 2: Case-book of the Genuine and the Spurious (Introduction)

H

Vol 1 Afterword | Contents | Prologue

In the antique store “Kura” on Kyoto’s Teramachi Sanjou, there is a man known as Holmes due to his gifted sense of perception and sharp eye for appraisal; not just a mysterious, singular Kyoto man, but a “Kyoto guy”.

“No, Aoi-san, I’m known as Holmes because my surname is Yagashira.”

—Yes, 屋 (Home) 頭 (Zu).

“…So you’re still saying that, huh.”

And thus begins the elegant case-book of Holmes-san, or Yagashira Kiyotaka-san, and me, Mashiro Aoi, a high school girl, with Kyoto as the stage.
